Baseball America's Top 100 Prospects

Baseball America's Top 100 Prospects has Matsuzaka as the #1 prospect. I suppose that's true, insofar as Daisuke hasn't proven anything at the major league level. But it's still odd to think of players as old as Daisuke as prospects. Ellsbury (#33), Buchholz (#51), Bard (#81) and Bowden (#83) round up the Sox representation in the top.

Meanwhile, how did the Yankees' farm system go from pathetic to really good in so short a time? Hughes and Jose Tabata both look really good.

Daryl,

Great to see that there are BOSOX fans in Singapore. I am taking a job in Singapore soon, currently living in Japan, DICE-K Mania is in full swing. Do you know of any place fans go to watch the games. Is there a chapter of the RSN in Singapore?

Wes

Sadly, Wes, games tend to start at 7am local time here so people don't really gather to watch the games. But if there's any showing at the sports bars due to some quirk of timing - the Patriots Day game or something - I'll be sure to let you know if you send me your e-mail address!

Cheers,
Daryl
