Urbina arrested for attempted murder
Former Sox pitcher Ugie Urbina is arrested for attempted murder. Wow - it's pretty shocking, regardless of the question of guilt.
And I know it's a wire story, and written in classic inverted-pyramid style, but it still seems very odd to even mention his record ("The 31-year-old Urbina has a 44-49 record with 237 saves and a 3.45 ERA in 11 seasons"), as though it shed any light on the case.
