Screw You, Larry

So, one thing about the Theo not signing thing that seems to have arisen is that Larry Lucchino has come across so badly that (hopefully) people might realise the whole media-spin slurs on Manny and Pedro are just that. The Sox let a Hall of Fame pitcher go in one year, and the first GM to win the Sox a World Series in 86 years go the next, and so maybe it's hoping against hope, but please, keep the Hall of Fame hitter.

I don't doubt there are other talented GMs out there. But - to join in the Internet echo chamber - screw you, Larry Lucchino.

And don't forget that Johnny Damon will most likly sign with some other team as well. Maybe it's all part of the Sox's and Larry Lucchino plan to not win another World Series for the next 86 years...

Who fucking cares about Damon when Theo is gone? You can replace a good centerfielder; it's a lot harder to replace an excellent GM with hometown ties. I've respected his moves (Nomar) and non-moves (Manny) every time he's made them. I had confidence this team would be built from the farm system that was slowly growing to be impressive. Now my faith is mostly shattered.

Personally, I hope Damon leaves and Matsui arrives.
