The Parade
Watching the parade live via MLB.com. Still can't quite believe it. Manny's sign in the picture ("Jeter is playing golf today. This is better") is great.
Watching the parade live via MLB.com. Still can't quite believe it. Manny's sign in the picture ("Jeter is playing golf today. This is better") is great.
The "Jeter..." sign in the picture was actually made by a spectator watching the parade near the beginning of the route. He was standing directly across the street from where I was standing, just about two blocks in from the start of the parade route. I don't know if he gave the sign to someone on Manny's boat or if someone asked him for it, but I can't think of a better sign to have made its way through the entire parade!
